80mm Underground Hydrant

 

 Special Features
 
  • This unique design has been patented by Woodlands because of its superior development.
  • In spite of its advanced design, it still conforms to all SABS requirements for inlet and outlet dimensions for this type of hydrant. It still suits all existing BS equipment currently in use.
  • The design eliminates the use of glands that may develop leaks over time, break or be stolen.
  • This ‘tamperproof’ hydrant is a viable alternative to many existing hydrants that can be more easily dismantled. Apart from the outlet it is totally secure from pilfering thieves.
  • It is a ‘full-bore’ hydrant with high flow rates and low head loss.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Inlet flange drilling to standard SABS hydrant drilling with four hole 165mm Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD).
  • Outlets made to SABS and BS 750
    65mm London Round Thread (L.R.T.);
    London Vee Thread (L.V.T.) Or Bayonet outlet to fit existing equipment.
  • Body material: Cast iron.
  • Spindle material: Stainless steel for increased strength and durability.
  • Left or Right hand closing.
  • Plug Seat: Woodlands patented low maintenance design.
  • Outlet bolts are galvanised for trouble free maintenance.
