Special Features
- The spindle is manufactured from stainless steel (and not brass) for increased strength and durability.
- The hydrant is supplied with the ‘Woodlands Patented’ Inlet Seat/ Clack Washer. This seat eliminates nuts and washers traditionally used to keep the rubber in place. Nuts and washers tend to corrode over time and damage the inlet plug thread. The resulting effect of replacing the rubber at service intervals incurs unnecessary costs. This feature is unique to all Woodlands hydrants and allows for replacement of rubber inlet seats quickly and cost-effectively, without the need of replacing the plug.
- The body and outlet are cast as one – eliminating theft of the outlet, which would render the hydrant useless.
