Special Features   This Hydrant has been specially designed for the International market and has also been supplied into the South African market. The B.S.750 Underground conforms to the latest British specifications for underground fire hydrants. Many African countries currently make use of this specification of fire hydrant due to their colonial connections. The hydrant can be supplied with either the London Round Thread, the London Vee thread or Bayonet outlet. The hydrant comes with a variety of flange drillings, but the most popular are to B.S. 4504, DIN 2501 and ISO 2084. The hydraulic test is to B.S.750 ( CS.1 & C3.2 of B.S.750 1984.)The hydrants body test is to 1.5 PN & The seat test to 1.1 PN. The hydrant is designed for use with water to a maximum of 70 degrees Celsius.

  • Bayonet outlet to fit existing equipment.
• Body material: Cast iron.
• Spindle material: Stainless steel for increased strength and durability.
• Left or Right hand closing.
• Outlet bolts are galvanised for trouble free maintenance.
